These terms apply to betterskillsacademy.com and student.betterskillsacademy.com, operated by Pat Pathak trading as Better Skills Academy (ABN 99 531 566 706). By using the site, booking tutoring, creating an account, or purchasing a book or course access, you agree to these terms.
Better Skills Academy provides private maths tutoring, printed practice books, and interactive online lessons, primarily aligned to the ACT BSSS Specialist Methods course. Practice materials are an independent resource and are not endorsed by the BSSS.
If you create an account on the student hub, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Lessons marked free can be used without an account; an account is needed to save your progress or to purchase course access.
Printed book orders are processed securely through Stripe and are currently delivered within the ACT only. Course access purchases (where offered) unlock the relevant lesson content to your account. If something goes wrong with an order or purchase, contact us and we'll sort it out.
Practice books and lesson content are for your own personal study. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute them. Don't attempt to disrupt the site or access accounts that aren't yours.
Our materials are designed to support your learning and exam preparation, but we can't guarantee specific grades or exam outcomes — results depend on many factors beyond the materials themselves.
To the extent permitted by law, Better Skills Academy isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or materials. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.
We may update these terms or our services from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
