Teacher & tutor with 15+ years of experience

I am a Mathematics teacher based in Canberra and registered with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI). I have been tutoring since the age of 15 and have supported more than 200 students through private tutoring, online lessons, and tutoring organisations across Australia and the United States.

Originally from Nepal, my education has taken me across three continents. I completed UK-based A-Levels, earned a Bachelor of Mathematics in the United States, and completed a Master of Teaching in Australia.

My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex mathematical concepts into clear, manageable steps tailored to each student's individual needs. I emphasise first-principles thinking, abstraction, pattern recognition, and higher-order problem-solving. My goal is to help students develop the confidence and reasoning skills to tackle unfamiliar problems independently.

Outside of teaching, I am an endurance athlete who has completed Ironman events and World Marathon Majors. I also enjoy scuba diving, table tennis, calisthenics, and travelling.
